God´s Hand

" A devotee´s conclusion is that no one is directly responsible for being a benefactor or mischief-monger without the sanction of the Lord; therefore he does not consider anyone to be directly responsible for such action. But in both the cases he takes it for granted that either benefit or loss is God-sent, and thus it is His grace." (SB1,17,22).

Watch the Olympic games or Grammy Awards and it isn´t uncommon to hear winners thanking God. It is so much easier to see God´s hand in our situation when it is positive. I wonder if those who do not win are equally as thankful, grateful and faithful?

Right now, i am far away from my family and friends and not so close to where i feel safe and comfortable, and it is also very trying for me to see His grace in this situation.

Prabhupada continues..." In other words a devotee has no suffering at all because so-called suffering is also God´s grace for a devotee who sees God in everything."

I need to see how weak my faith and love is. Try and see God´s hand, exercise my faith and allow my love for Him to grow.
